Day 1 - Milwaukee to Lima, via Atlanta

Overnight - Swissotel Hotel, Lima





Day 2 - Lima to Iquitos

Visit the Manatee Rescue Center

Board Riverboat La Estrelle for cruise start





Day 3 - Continue upriver on the Amazon to the confluence of Ucayali and Marañón Turn into the Río Ucayali, and take an excursion into the surrounding rainforest.





Day 4 - Breakfast along the black-water Sapote Creek.

Explore a small tributary of the Ucayali from small excursion boats.





Day 5 - Morning and afternoon excursions.





Day 6 - Deeper into the heart of the wetlands in the morning.

Day 7 - Head downriver.

Visit a riverside village of the “Ribereño” people who live there.

Day 8 - Early morning birdwatching excursion along the Yarapa River.

After breakfast, try piranha fishing in Ubos Lake, maybe dinner prepared with our catch







Day 9 - Disembark in Iquitos and fly back to Lima for lunch.

Day 10 – Lima to Cusco.

Drive to Sacred Valley visiting the Awanacancha traditional weaving demonstration and Pisac market en route.

Overnight at Pakaritampu Hotel, Sacred Valley





Day 11 - Train to Aguas Calientes, then bus up to Machu Picchu.

Overnight at Mercado Tunqui Hotel, Cusco.







Day 12 - Cusco city tour including Cathedral, Qoricancha temple, San Pedro market and Sacsayhuaman.

Fly from Cusco to Lima.
